[Dixielandjazz] Treemonisha performance

For those in the New York area:

Scott Joplin’s opera Treemonisha will be performed at York College on 
February 9 through the 11th. The production is staged by the 
Presbyterian Church of St. Albans (718-528-2495), an African-American 
church. I’ve seen two rehearsals and can recommend the production very 
highly.

The performance will be at the York College Performing Arts Center, 
94-45 Guy Brewer Blvd., Jamaica, NY. The time on February 9 and 10 is 8 
PM; on February 11, 3 PM. Tickets are $20; $15 for students & seniors.
