[Dixielandjazz] another email crash

Dear Billiam:

Come to see such computer-related crashes as a blessing.  I've lost so much
over time, that I've come to see such experiences as damn-near cathartic.
Like a digital high colonic.

Earlier this year I had a subdirectory with approx 7 years' worth of stored
material of all sorts simply disappear.  Poof.  And based upon how much
space was available on the hard drive before and after, I'm still not
convinced it's actually gone, just that I can't see it.
