[Dixielandjazz] It's a lonely old town...and quiet today

After getting an average of 12 - 20 posts a day for some time, a day and 
a half produced a total of 2. If there something (jazz-wise) on that I 
missed hearing about this weekend? It's too early for Sweet and Hot, so 
where is y'all hanging out? Or are you among those getting swept away 
form rains and floods -- forest fires in Michigan UP?
But let's hope if trouble is coming it misses you this round.
Poor N.O. -- still in the wrong place of late. Location, location, 
locations -- it's everything.
Nursing a bit of pneumonia. this week. Gig coming up in two weekend and 
filling horn to play long tones is a bit of a chore.
Well, at lest I am stretching my single malt budget -- can't drink any 
until the antibiotics are completed. But then..."Michigan Water Tastes 
Like Cherry Wine!"
