Musicians simply can't be trusted to show up in what you want them to show
up in even if you buy it.
I worked for one band ( park concert ) that had polo shirts and since I
didn't work with them all the time I didn't have one. I was given one and
put it on but as the concert was finishing the woman who played trombone and
fancied herself the leader of the band (she is no longer with them) came
after me with a vengeance. I was putting up my horn and she accosted me and
in a very loud stage voice ordered me to take off the shirt. This was in
front of maybe 500 people. She kept at me and we almost had words. I
finally told her that she would just have to wait. She actually followed me
around until I gave it to her.
I guess musicians aren't to be trusted giving back things either.
Larry
