You Jazz Society folks better Book Bonerama now before this show or
they too will be headline status and out of your price range :))
I have been touting and telling ya'll about this great band for two
years now and how many of you have booked them ???
Even though they do not sound like King Oliver, or Jelly Roll, folks,
they are THE WAVE OF THE IMMEDIATE FUTURE FOR OKOM and attracting a
sustainable younger audience to keep your organizations in business.

Farrington Productions has been retained to create a spectacular
opening production number for the three hour live telecast of "Comic
Relief 2006" in the Coliseum at Ceasar's Palace, Las Vegas, on
Saturday, November 18, 2006. Blair Farrington will direct and
choreograph the opening and closing numbers as well as a special
production featuring Billy Crystal and the members of the Jazz
Preservation Band.
"It is such an honor to be working with such a distinguished group of
artists, and for such a worthy cause," says Blair Farrington, CEO of
Farrington Productions. "I spent time in New Orleans and learned first
hand the depth of soul and spirit this unique city possesses. It's so
important for all of us as Americans to support the rebuilding effort.
The culture, music and individuality of the people of New Orleans are
something to appreciate and protect. It is one of the few cities in
America that is truly original and rich in history, music, and cuisine,
and needs to be around for future generations to experience!"
Farrington Productions' sister company, Imagination Las Vegas is
costuming the production and designing floats to further identify the
New Orleans style of Mardi Gras, while Farrington Productions will head
production of the opening and closing numbers. "We will be utilizing
unique and eclectic talents from across the country, and are bringing
in the New Orleans band, Bonerama, for this special occasion," says
Farrington. "Our goal is to remain true to the tradition of Mardi Gras
in the production, while raising awareness through comedy of the
current conditions resulting from Hurricane Katrina."
Reviving one of comedy's most revered shows, Billy Crystal, Whoopi
Goldberg and Robin Williams will come together to host Comic Relief
2006, a live three-hour all-star comedy event to benefit the city of
New Orleans. Comic Relief 2006 will be presented live from the
Coliseum, simulcast on HBO and TBS.
