Amen, Brian Harvey and others, to the fidelity of the Archeophone King
Oliver 1923 recordings.

They are FAR SUPERIOR in fidelity to anything you've ever heard previously
by King Oliver. I bought the set on the advice of a musician pal and was
blown away by how much you can hear on this edition.

In fact, they are so good, that they will take away the argument of the
re-creators that they do Oliver note for note so you can hear it in it's
original fidelity. Archephone comes close, with the original creator.

If you are an Oliver fan, regardless of what ever duplicate King Oliver
records you may have, these are well worth the investment.

This from a muso who doesn't spend much time listening to dead guys. :-) VBG

Cheers,
Steve Barbone
