Forgot to include the story of my departed buddy Stan Mallet, a better than  
average banjoist from Maine. Stan left for New Orleans, hoping to play OKOM  
there. Came back a year later, said he never got a single job from the union, 
he  was somewhere like number thirty in line when they called for musicians.  
Supported himself for a year pumping gas. So much for dreams!!
