Hi All,
Hope this is not redundant but here is an oppurtunity to see the complete
liner notes accompanying Folkways 2671, The Six and Seven Eighths String
Band.
Go to Google and search for references to the band. You will soon see a link
to the Smithsonian/Folkways site and notification that a cd is now
available, a list of titles is given and at the right hand side of the page
a miniscule copy of the cd liner. Click on this and lo and behold a copy of
the full liner notes from the original lp is available. This was scanned
from a copy of the record in the University of Alberta, it was somewhat
difficult to read. But a date is clearly shown on the record sleeve, this
may have been date of issue though as it does not state it to be the
recording date.
Several good pictures are also reproduced.
Good night all, Glen.
