This latest from Tim Laughlin, New Orleans Clarinetist re Jack Maheu:

 

 

Jack is holding on. He's talking as best he can and wants to stand up. Can't
keep a good guy down, can you? 

The doctors gave him a TPA shot (ask your doctor) last night to thin the
clot. They said, after that, it's up to him. If I know Jack, he'll fight
this, come back stronger than ever...and outlive us all. Thanks for your
thoughts and prayers from his family.
