Please don't forget this Wednesday evening! I originally sent the SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT way down below on Mar. 3....
Now...for a heads up...I don't want ANYONE to be offended or shocked...
This Wednesday, Ron Deeter will be playing clarinet with us, and  as many of you know he's one of the VERY best...ANYWHERE!! If  you remember, he played in Carnegie Hall with the Turk Murphy band just before Turk passed away...
Well, Ron has made a very hard, difficult, and momentous decision in his life...I spoke with him today for 45 minutes, and he told me...officially...about his decision to have a sex change...from now on, he's to be called "Renee". He told me that all of his life he knew something was wrong...and he said he's happier now than he's EVER been...

So, he probably will be dressed more femininely this Wednesday than manly...he's a very warm and caring person now, and he knows he has my full support in his quest for peace-of-mind!
He's not adverse to discussing this with me...and he's not trying to hide it from the public!
He said he MIGHT wear a dress....

Our esteemed banjo artist, KURT ABELL, will be the featured performer Wednesday, March 15, at the DCSH, (Dry Creek Steak House)., in South Galt, located, where else? The Dry Creek Golf course, right off hwy 99 on Crystal Way.
Watch your local newspaper for the announcement, but you heard it first here!
Also joining us that evening will be Renee Deeter on clarinet...
The Dry Creek Steak House management has asked me to  request that you please call for reservations so they will know how many to plan for...PLEASE? (DON'T risk a visit from Guido!!)
BTW! You've GOT to try their steaks...best Filet Mignon I EVER had was there!
This Wednesday night, two days before St. Patrick's Day, there will probably be Corned Beef and Cabbage....
