[Dixielandjazz] Re: Miles Davis Inducted into Rock & Roll Hall OfFame

Why should anyone be surprised about Miles being inducted into the Rock &
Roll Hall of Fame? A few years ago, it was Jelly Roll Morton who made the
grade. I remember researching the reasons for Jelly's induction and
discovered that the people who created the R&R Hall of Fame were also
looking at influences which led to R&R - hence Morton and now Miles. Why
not?
