[Dixielandjazz] Public Liability

Have only had one personal instance in the UK  recently using the local town
hall.  Not a problem as I could build a hotel with the amount of cover my MU
membershio gets me.

Am I missing something or is the Public Liability Ins. requirmenet for a
band unique
to Australia? What kind of thing is it supposed to cover? Is there anything
like it
required in the US of A?
