Reminds me of a guy I was in the AF with. Al Lowe, a good alto sax player
who had a ringing Basso voice. Al did very well with a video game " Leisure
Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards" (No I wasn't the model for
LLL but I think a friend of mine was the inspiration ) The game came out in
multiple editions before being bought out by some larger company. As told
to me, Al wrote the music for this game and eventually bought out his
partner who was the programmer ending up very well off.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the game it's a risqué, somewhat
naughty video game. I saw it first in it's Beta version on 5 inch Floppies.
It was one of the first interactive games that you would type in your
commands and LLL would do things and follow commands while trying to pick up
chicks.

One of the guys in the band was into those extremely vulgar paperbacks of
the heaving boob variety. One night Al got of one of his books and read it
to the barracks in his basso most ringing Shakespearian voice. I don't
think any group ever laughed so much.
