Boy, I think "Shiek's" ears and mine must not hear the same thing.   The two 
tunes are almost exactly alike.  The old guys in New Orleans told  me almost 
thirty years ago, that Rock around the Clock was Joe Avery's  
Blues.......................
They did call it Joe Avery's Blues.  In my recollection, the brass  bands 
also called it The Second Line.
