Dear Dave,
I have that "Clownin' The Frets" [Farewell Blues] by the Los Angeles
Biltmore Hotel Trio on 'Honolulu to Hollywood' (The Old Masters CD mb 123)
which listmate Anton Crouch talked me into buying some years ago.
Those two 'chords' in bar 12 may be interesting, but are certainly a bit
monotonous played every chorus.
First and last choruses only would be more effective.
So far as your comment "there's no standard version of "Farewell..." is
concerned, what is wrong with the first one by the Friars Society Orchestra,
29 Feb 1922?
