"On Treasure Island" if they happen to need a sorta Hawaiian tune. It was
popular in the mid-30s.]
You're quite right about the 2 chords.
As for my comment "no standard version", there seems to be no classic
*model*, certainly not one that's been adopted by the jazzers. I'm not
passing judgement on anyone's virgin, just noting the fact. It posed a
problem when doing my book, since I wanted to provide the most
standard routine.
I finally settled for compiling the various strains I'd heard and
putting them in some semblance of "order"...
