Hi Tom:

Now that's a funny story. A synchronized lawn mower troupe?

Too bad they didn't show up. You could have synchronized the music to them
with "Over the Waves" or something. Or perhaps in a Buster Keaton vein,
Fidgety Feet  :-) VBG

PS. Listmate Nancie Beaven says trombonist Dick Dreiwitz was with you NYE.
We did a few gigs together in the 1950's with the Southampton Dixie, Racing
and Clambake Society jazz band. Also did some with Barbara Dreiwitz. Most
notably one on NBC TV, circa 1958 or so, when she was 6 months pregnant and
playing Sousaphone. Have a great picture of that.
