Hi Larry & All:
There are a whole lot bigger Carp in the water in OKOM than WOODY
ALLEN, and many of them have been swimming around in it muddying it up
long before Woody saw and heard them and got inspired to do the same.
:)) They just simply have not been successful enough for anybody to
notice. :))
You can see Carp bands and players all over this market called
Dixieland, and in any other genre of music too for that matter, they
all have a place on the planet I suppose and obviously a purpose in the
system, like the price difference between Salmon, Swordfish and Carp
and Catfish in the supermarket. Kind of like degrees of quality found
in almost everything else in life, Woody could just as well have been a
Doctor or Lawyer or Engineer dabbling in music on his days off between
making movies. Hey Paul Newman makes Pasta Sauce on his days off and
other food products, some are better than others but they keep his face
out in the public and his name recognition going.
There are many people out there that actually like CARP and Catfish and
Gar, who have never tasted Salmon or Swordfish much less having ever
seen the Ocean.
Cheers,
Tom

Funny thing but everybody on this list has heard of Wood Allen but you
can bet there are lots of folks on hear who never heard of any of the
ret of us, good bad or indifferent.
OK Lets say someone who has never heard OKOM goes to Woody's concert
and
found him to be totally inadequate and the music not well done. They
went
there for whatever reason, celebrity, curiosity or someone bought them
the
ticket. Would that person then hire or pay to see anyone else who is
playing the same type of music or would they be turned off on it?
There are many kinds of fish but the Carp muddies the water so much
that
other fish can't live there.
