[Dixielandjazz] set ups

A few "San Francisco Jazz" bands put the rhythm sitting in the front
line (banjo(s), drums, tuba - piano wherever it fits) with the clar,
trumpet(s), t-bone standing behind them. The only band I was in that
did this was the Monterey Classic JB in 1980. It was OK, I guess.

I personally like the way we do it in "And That's Jazz" - Bone,
Trump, Reeds in front, tuba, drums, banjo in back (as viewed from the
audience) - we have no piano. My tuba bell is pointing towards left
towards the rest of the band (but there are some "right hand"
pointing tubas.) With a double bass or bass guitar it would not make
as much difference, I guess. Our drummer is also our main vocalist so
having him in the center works better for us.
