Ted Shafer's Jelly Roll Jazz Band is playing this Saturday night (and
every Saturday night) from 7 PM to 10 PM at La Beau's Louisiana kitchen,
a Cajun/Creole restaurant in downtown Martinez, CA. The street address
is 436 Ferry Street, which is about a block from the Amtrak station.

>From I-680, take the Marina Vista exit and go west, winding among the
refineries, and the street will take you directly to La Beau's. From
Highway 4 take the Alhambra exit, and go north. At the second stop SIGN
(traffic lights don't count), turn right on Escobar St. Go three blocks
and turn left on Ferry Street. Go 1 block and La Beau's is on the
corner.

The usual personnel (subject to change due to individual schedules) are:

Earl Scheelar, Cornet (& occasionally Clarinet)
Pete Main, Clarinet (& occasionally Sarrusophone and other
					weird instruments)
Glen Calkins, Trombone (& occasionally ophicleide and other
					weird instruments)
	Ted Shafer, Banjo & Leader
	Jim O'Briant, Tuba
	Sharon Swenson, Piano

Reservations are recommended, as there is a cadre of loyal fans who are
there nearly every week, and tables in the room with the band are
sometimes at a premium. For reservations, call (925) 229-9232.
