Greetings from the New Creole Jazz Band from Springfield, Missouri.

(Removal instructions at bottom of message.)

HAVE YOU MISSED US?
Well, we've missed you! We have received so many emails, phone
calls, and even letters over the last few months asking about
where the band is playing that we finally decided we'd better
get an email of explanation out to you. As you may know, we
were playing at Mike's Place every Sunday but, sadly, in late
April Mike decided to close his doors. We really appreciate
the opportunity Mike and Nancy gave the band. We had such a
terrific time during our short run there. We wish Mike and
Nancy much good luck in the future.

Coincidentally, that SAME weekend was our final Monday night
at Joey's Only Seafood Restaurant. Yep, after nearly two years
of great "Mardi Gras Mondays", Joey's determined we had indeed
done what they had hired us to do -- bring YOU in and let you
find out how great the food really is. Then you went out and
told your friends and, sure enough, two years later business
is booming. So, THANK YOU, all of you, for coming out to hear
the Creole Band at Joey's and allowing our stay there to be
such a great success. And thank you, Jamie and the rest of
the staff at Joey's for allowing us two great years.

We are currentlly seeking our next weekly "home" and will certainly
keep you posted as to when we find it.

NAME CHANGE
We have decided to use this "interim period" as an opportunity
to shorten our name. "The Creole Dixieland Jazz Band" is now
"The New Creole Jazz Band". We chose a name that's similar
to our old name, but shorter. And with history proving "King
Oliver's Creole Jazz Band" and "Kid Ory's Creole Jazz Band"
to be such terrific ensembles, we figured we couldn't go wrong
with "The New Creole Jazz Band". So there you have it!

NEW PHOTOS
We've had several performances lately including our live performance
at KSMU radio for their monthly "Studio Live" show and a recent
concert at the town square gazebo in Seymour. Visit http://www.creolejazz.com
