Hi Bill,

We in the UK formed NOMAF - see our website  www.nomaf.org . To date we have 
sent monies to worthy causes where there is NO administration expense. If 
you surf to www.wwoz.org/clinic you will come to one of the recipients' 
sites. The others we supported included www.tipitinas.com  and the musicians 
union in New Orleans (at the insistence of the collector at the Bude Jazz 
festival). As you say, the majority of local New Orleans musicians don't 
belong to the Union (or ever will)
