Dear Bob, For many years it has been almost mandatory for the annual City to Surf marathon here in Sydney, Oz, to include 'dixie' bands along the route to spur the runners on. A good-paying gig too, and one quite hard to crack. Maybe the band at Big Sur was one of ours. 8>) Kind regards, Bill.
