Hi Jazz Enthusiasts and ALS Supporters,

This webpage is dedicated to one of the founding fathers of jazz, Louis
Armstrong, as well as one of the most devastating diseases affecting
patients today, ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's disease. This online
silent auction is made possible by Alyssa Adams, wife of Pulitzer Prize
winning photographer Eddie Adams. Eddie took this intimate photo of
Satchmo in 1970. Decades later, Eddie passed away from ALS. We are
celebrating May as National ALS Awareness Month by bringing together the
strength, talents and legend of Louis Armstrong with that of Lou Gehrig
and Eddie Adams. Please help us improve living with and find a cure for
ALS by clicking here and placing an online bid
<http://www.alsact.org/alsact/satchmo/> for this piece of jazz history.

Thank you for your support,
Alyssa Adams, Jim Eigo (Jazz Promo Services) and Anne Davino (The ALS
Association)
