It turns out fine. When I was backing up Polly Podewell in the
Empire Room of the Palmer House back in 1980 along with Rick Bendel
on trumpet, Dickie Borden on drums, Lew Gregory on piano and John
Bany on bass (what a group!) , Polly loved to sing that song, and we
did it almost every night. It swings just fine if you swing it. Or
light rock if you must.

Anyone run into Polly lately out on the left coast? She left Chicago
shortly after the Empire Room gig closed and went out to stay with
Woody Herman during his last illness. Later moved in with Buddy Rich
just before HE died. Word was around Chicago, keep the front door
locked: Polly Podewell might be coming up onto your porch!

Bad joke but good singer. Polly is good folks.
