Somehow I don't think so.  Maybe as a bossa or possibly some other Latin.
Swing maybe but that stretches it.  I know some drummers no matter what the
tune, it comes out swing, others its rock.

I just can't imagine that tune as a Dixie.

I have an Idea - play it the way he did.
