Welcome back, Cees,
Trombonist Dan Barrett has spent most of this spring working in Europe and
loving it. He told me at the recent Jubilee, "I WANT TO MOVE TO HOLLAND."
I looked over at his wife, and she gave me a twinkly-eyed smile and nod,
as if to say, "He's totally serious!" Dan has fallen in love, not only
with the music scene there but with the people as well. (It helps that
they love jazz!)
For those who truly love jazz, I don't think we care where it's growing,
as long as it thrives there. Now as for Judy's comments:

Uncle Bob's strange ambition for the list, (just imagine 500 people
posting every day) and also an invitation to some off-topic banter that
will send him apoplectic:-) ..."

Bigger is better, you say? Well, Judy,
Bob HAS succeeded in drawing out the lurkers, so we do have more "meat" to
the discussions now. I'm liking it. ;-)
Love and hugs,
Nancy
