[Dixielandjazz] Music in Church

I know not now what transpires in the Houses of Worship of the "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints" or (Mormon), but as I remember, the leaders encouraged music and dancing when the followers crossed the plains to Salt Lake. 
 
As a "Jack Mormon", I recall the ward or church sponsering dances on Sunday evening after evening services to get the younger people to attend.
 
The dancing was not to some religious opus, but to music like BG, TD, GM, etc.
