And down Philadelphia/Atlantic City way, you can catch Paul Grant and His
New Orleans Swing (with yours truly on clarinet) at the Showboat Casino in
AC from 3:30 PM to 7:15PM. Then Paul and I race for our Barbone Street date
at Shannondel near Valley Forge PA. 9PM to 12:30 AM.

Both events are FREE, but you need to call or write me to get in to the
Shannondel event as a band guest.

No doubt about it, NYE is an OKOM time in NYC/NJ/Philadelphia/Atlantic City

And, if you are in the Los Angeles area check out:

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Celebrate as this big
band, whose appearance in the movie "Swingers" helped kick off the swing
revival of the mid-'90s, performs a variety of jazz, blues and swing. Show
times are 7 and 10:30 p.m. ($53 to $150) at 111 S. Grand Ave., Los Angeles.
(213) 480-3232. ticketmaster.com.

Brian Setzer at House of Blues Anaheim. The avatar of cool performs a
variety of music, from rockabilly to big-band jazz. 9:30 p.m. ($125) at 1530
S. Disneyland Drive, Anaheim. (213) 480-3232. ticketmaster.com.

Probably a lot more OKOM around the USA than most of us are aware of, this
New Year's Eve, too.

Cheers,
Steve Barbone
