IF YOU THINK OKOM IS DEAD, CHECK OUT THESE NEW YORK CITY OFFERINGS. Sounds
like there must be a new audience out there. One with money, that actually
goes clubbing to experience "THE MUSIC".

The below music. coupled with Wynton Marsalis' "Holiday Stomp" last week at
Lincoln Center is proof enough that THE MUSIC is alive and well with heavy
hitters in the Big Apple. (many other lesser known venues with it there too)

Cheers,
Steve

The New Year's Eve performance on Saturday, December 31 begins at 7:00 PM

[TD] My wife and I enjoyed this show last week. Marion Cowings also sings
the Great American Songbook in a great baritone and his son Alexander tap
dances and improvises with the band. I believe that the 7 PM show is at
59E59 Theaters and Vince and the gang then race across Midtown to set up at
The Algonquin for the $400 NYE ticket.

On the Jersey Side, Dr. Dubious & the Agnostic have a repeat performance at
First Night Montclair. We play and parade for the opening ceremony at 7 PM
and play up to and including Auld Lang Syne before the fireworks at midnight
. . . Join us in our hope for the same moderate weather we had last year. If
you don't feel hardy enough to catch us outdoors, we play a set at 9:55 PM
and you can also catch Richie Havens soulful singing, Tom Chapin's folk
songs for kids, Sweet Georgia Brown and other music from country to doo wop
plus lots more entertainment for the family . . . All for $15 or $5 for
kids! Check out http://www.firstnightmontclair.com/schedule.php for the
whole lineup and say hello if you come.

Our band and friends will regroup for traditional NYE welcome and jam with
single malt and Haggis. Are you there Don Ingle?

Happy Hogmanay,
