Annie Ross ain't Dixieland, but she is OKOM for many members of the DJML. If
she is YKOM and you are in NYC, don't miss her show. She is still hip at age
75 and going strong. We should all be so fortunate. Those with long memories
will remember that she recorded with Louis Armstrong as well as many of the
modern jazz giants, and was with Dave Lambert and Jon Hendricks in a very
swinging vocal trio.
