Hi Jim,
Jamie is a local lad and was playing round the pubs until a year or two ago. 
His mother is a chorister in the Bath Silver Ring Choir. I went to a Choir 
concert in which Cullum appeared. His following , particularly among the 
younger set is huge. Personally I wish he would stop messing about, arriving 
on stage in a baseball slide, playing rythm on the pianoby banging his hands 
on the top etc., but the youngsters loved it.
Cullum was starred on the Parkinson show last year and was immediately 
`discovered`. A great talent and he seems to have discovered the trick that 
Barbone is always banging on about. He PERFORMS, he sells himself with all 
these gimmicks. Personally I hate it, but ,count bums on seats, he is a sell 
out wherever he goes.
