[Dixielandjazz] Making CD's from Audio Tapes

Several weeks ago there was some discussion on one of these list re: 
audio tapes to CD's.  Someone suggested an alternative to using your 
computer. If anyone recalls that discussion or what those ideas were 
please email me off list.  It sparked my interest and I have gotten my 
reel to reel repaired and have found some tapes that I would like to 
transfer of a big band that we used to have here.
