Yeah, the Marsalis interview was dumb.

Speaking about the program at Frederick P. Rose Hall (The new Jazz Venue at
Lincoln Center) note that singer Tony Bennett is booked for FIVE NIGHTLY
PERFORMANCES, from Nov 23 through Nov 28.

Presented by The American Express Gold Card.

If you are a Gold Card holder, or higher, you get first choice of seating,
etc and can order tickets now at 212-721-6500. Tickets to the general public
will not be available until October 12 at 10 AM. Or visit the card website
at http://www.americanexpress.com/gce

The header in the full page ad ($17,000?) in the NY Times says:

"Tony Bennett, Live at Jazz At Lincoln Center".

Now there is a headliner, and one from the past at that, :-) VBG

Cheers,
Steve Barbone

PS. Marsalis? Love him or hate him, he has done more for Jazz in the past 10
years than anybody else on the planet.
