[Dixielandjazz] Super new Krupa CD

Just received today from Jazz'n'Blues records (listmate Jerry) a wonderful
new CD of the 1952 complete Studio Sextet sessions by Gene Krupa. I've had
one LPs worth for years, but a lot of this is new to me. Great band with
Charlie Shavers, Ben Webster, Teddy Wilson, Bill Harris etc, but Gene's
drums are capured beautifully. It swings like crazy. The CD is on the Jazz
Factory label. A must, not just for drummers, but for all fans of great
swinging jazz
