[Dixielandjazz] recording

Some time ago during a discussion on recording disc to computer one of the
members talked about playing 78's at 45 rpm and then changing some settings
to bring them to 78.
The subscriber , I think, went by the name "Swamp Daddy" but he wasn't Don
Garlits.
I had kept the posts but had a little computer hiccup and lost them. Does
anybody remember what I am talking about and can help me?
