Kurt,

There are 2 people doing just that, selling musicians CDs at various Jazz
festivals on the west coast. They are ShowTime Records & Jan Scobey.

Jan sells & promotes Bob Scobey records but also carries other people's
recordings.

This business can turn into a lot of work for you.

You have a lot of inventory to keep track of & to move & set up.

You have to make deals with the musicians & then with the festivals.

You have to do a lot of traveling from festival to festival which can cost a
lot of money for gas, food & hotels.

It might be fun for a while but doing all of this for very little or no
money, can get to be a drag after a while.

You say, but you like to go to festivals? Fine, but, when you go to those
festivals, do you enjoy standing behind a counter, most of the time where
you can't hear the music?

Think about it my friend.
