Hello all,
Continuing the Library of Congress narrative, the following 13 AFS numbers
are presented for your viewing :
1669 A - The Dirty Dozen
1669 B - The Murder Ballad - "I Know You've Got My Man."
1670 A - The Murder Ballad - "Now Let Me Tell You."
1670 B - The Murder Ballad - [She Got In The Jailhouse]
1671 A - The Murder Ballad - "They Brought That Gal To The Prison Gate."
1671 B - The Murder Ballad - "Gal, When I Get Through, You Think I Am A
Man."
1672 A - The Murder Ballad - "Ask My Sister, Please Don't Be Like Me."
1672 B - The Murder Ballad - "Good-bye To The World, I Know I'm Gone."
The Murder Ballad set have been correctly assigned their correct AFS
listings and titles.
Readers should be aware that a number of the above recordings contain
obscene language, which some may find offensive. To retain historical
accuracy no attempt has been made to censor them.
