Candle?  Candle?    That were LUXURY!
When I were a young lad in Yorkshire,  we 'ad it really tuff.
We used to strike t'match and huddle round it, just to keep warm.
Then me and my ten brothers would teck it in turns to hold the burnt stub,
just to stop from freezing to death.
