[Dixielandjazz] Sorry about Glenn Koch

Hi listmates,

Don Ingle related an anecdote about Glenn in Germany and I thought about 
Glenn's humor and his "touch of the the mischievious (I don't know if that's 
really a word, but you know what I mean).

Anyway, Glenn was alway there in the early days of the Washboard Concert at 
the Sacramento Jubilee. He'd be there with his washboard and when he was 
introduced, the MC would say something like, "Glenn, your fly is open."

Glenn would look down and get an embarrassed look on his face and turn 
around with his back to the audience and, while pretending to zip up he 
would make a scrape on his washboard  to sound like and enormous zipper 
being pulled up. It never failed to get a laugh.

Glenn was one of the good guys!
