Dear Meg,
As I could not help with the music to Santo Pecora's great "She's Crying For Me [Blues]", I deleted the request.
And can't recall who wanted it.
However, they also wanted the words.
The wonderful Dewey Jackson Peacock Orchestra version (St Louis, 21 June 1926) has a 12 bar vocal only, which I have
never been able to fully work out. Something about "Hate your pretty dimples" and "your tempting ways" and "the way you
love your daddy every night and day".
Do you have them on your sheet music?
Is that all there is?
Is the word 'Blues' included in the song title?
The NORK version from Jan 1925 is the only record which includes "Blues" in the title.
The NORK and 2 Wingy Manone versions do not have vocals.
Kind regards,
Bill.
