Dear Phil,
Our mate, trumpet player, big Eric Holroyd has an abiding hate for interfering
'sound' men.
Whenever his band played the outdoor, afternoon concerts at the Sydney Opera
House, he always pulled the faders down before they went on, and suggested that
the hired 'rock band expert' take a break.
It usually worked.
Good acoustics and jazz you could listen to with pleasure.
Kind regards,
Bill.
