[Dixielandjazz] Bands in the 50s

Interesting to note that of nine British bandleaders of the '50s mentioned by
Norrie, four are still blowing (and leading their own bands) today - Humph,
Acker, Mike Daniels and Steve Lane.  Mike Daniels appears to be active in
other areas too, judging from his cheekily-worded advert in the Jazz Guide:
"Mike Daniels - Solo, Trio, Quartet, Sex or Septet Anytime, Anywhere". :-)
