A teenage girl whose father happens to be a jazz drummer goes to her mom and
asks, "Mom, I wanna go a party at the Frim Fram Club tonight.  I know it's
in a terrible neighborhood, but all my friends will be there, and I promise
to be home by midnight.....can I go?"

The mom says, "ask your father."

So she approaches him and says "Dad, I wanna go to a party at that new music
club tonight, you know, the Frim Fram Club over on the east side?  I know
it's a terrible neighborhood, but all my friends will be there and I promise
to be home by midnight....can I go?"

The drummer replies, "Well, I don't know............................who's on
bass?"
