What about Dave Wundro? He is a great bass player who was with the Marine
Band for many years. Is he around? I was in the U of Wisconsin Music School
with him in the 50s. Dave used to play Raphael Mendez's solos on the tuba.
He quit playing tuba years ago and focused on the bass, of which he was a
master and a great jazz bassist.
