Of course, that's easy for us bandleaders in larger cities
(I'm in Wash, DC area) where we have a decently large pool of
really good jazz musicians to pull from, but what about the band
leaders in the smaller places?  One may not have the luxury of
bannin a musician from future gigs.  That's where just talking and
laying down the rules can help.
