Of course they wouldn't, Steve, and they don't jeopardize a thing!  The most
egregious of these egotistical misfits are black and singing principally to
a black culture that "personalizes" everything from songs to cars.  In fact,
a black singer who DOESN'T twist knots into the National Anthem will be
instantly accused of "Tomin'"; and all white criticism is effectively
blocked by the instant playing of the race card.

These guys should instantly follow the Anthem with "Play that race card
down, boy--play that race card down...!" to the tune of "Pistol Packin'
Mama."  Belafonte should volunteer.
