No.
Actually the date for the Capitol session you are referring to was 31 March 1959
(picky, picky), and the 'horn' player (mellophone) was Jackie Coon. Joe Rushton
on bass sax.
Nichols' band also recorded "Eccentric" for Jump in Aug 1949 (with Rosy) but not
Rich.
None of my files reveal Rich Matteson on any Red Nichols record dates.
C'mon Don Ingle. More info please. You may be sitting on a collectors item!
