This was a complaint of someone we met in New Orleans during the French
Quarter Festival this year. This couple was at the parade on Friday and
told us they had come to hear Zydeco and we started telling them about
Traditional Jazz and on Sunday we saw them again, and they had really gotten
into the trad venues. HER COMPLAINT: The leader of the French jazz band on
Saturday night had walked around and talked during other musicians's solos.
She complained that was so rude and said it was very distracting. Just FYI.

. The people in the band who are not playing sometimes seem to walk around,
talk to each other (sometimes loudly enough for the audience to hear), joke,
and generally behave as if nothing's going on.
