   Several people wrote making a good case for my becoming a better
boy--most having to do with possible loss of our free server if things get
too rowdy.  I don't really believe they ever would, but these guys have more
experience here than I do, and I defer to them.  I'll use Buckley and
Florence King as models and try to be a curmudgeon with charm, which is more
difficult but perhaps a more interesting challenge, as well.

   I have too much fun with the list to leave voluntarily; course, they
might throw me off anyway...
